Supervisor Chuck Malone and Management Staff of Norfolk Air and Post from Skipper Duck .....Pipe repairI would like to thank your firm for the very prompt and timely response in order to repair a leaking pipe over my bedroom area. When I contacted Chuck Malone he was very prompt in returning my call and subsequently arranging an appointment time to make the required repairs. Hans was the person dispatched to perform the work. Hans reported right on schedule and was outfitted with a face mask, gloves and shoe coverings. This was our second pipe leak in the last three months...now a different area this time. As before, Hans immediately evaluated the situation , gathered the necessary tools and equipment to perform the work and made the repairs in a very timely and most thorough manner. Prior to the start of the work Hans reviewed in detail what needed to be done and what the cost would be. Again as with the previous work performed by Hans he was very diligent in taking care not to do any additional damage to the ceiling area which was damaged earlier by the leak. After carefully and skillfully making the repair Hans stood by for a period of time to make sure the repairs were well taken care of...and indeed they were. At all times Hans exhibited a thorough knowledge of what was required and did so in a highly professional manner. I have dealt with Norfolk Air for a number of years now and I would strongly recommend this company for any plumbing or electrical needs that you may encounter. Oh yes...thanks again Hans! I am so surprised this place has so many positive reviews (it is why I chose them in the first place) because my service was so poor. I came home from vacation to find water leaking through my ceiling due to HVAC condensation dripping and missing the drip pan then soaking through. The tech that came out was a bit condescending and overall did not offer much explanation about what was wrong or what he did to fix it until I asked probing questions. He was not helpful with guiding me how to proceed either. Beyond that, the prices were outrageously high for the services rendered. The issue they identified actually could not be handled on the day of according to that tech and I made sure to go with a different company to finish the job. I hate to be so negative but I had no choice. Save your money and use Keith Thompson and Sons Heating and Cooling instead.——- After hearing about my negative experience, the owner gave me a call and we had a very encouraging conversation. He asked me to help him understand how the tech acted and humbly apologized for that part of my overall encounter. They stand by their insanely high pricing, which I cannot get behind myself, but he made sure to let me know if I ever have an issue in the middle of the night or after normal business hours, they will be available with other won’t. I appreciated the call and wanted to update my review accordingly.

I had two service appointments. One to get an estimate for potentially installing A 2nd AC system or, getting a bigger system as we were having to cool one floor at a time. ( We previously had another company come out and they stated that our system wasn’t big enough for the size of our home). We had a second service appointment as the AC had just started leaking water everywhere. Rick was our estimator who came out first. He was very kind, and knowledgeable. He looked at our home and size, the vents, the AC system outside and inside. He gave us a few options, getting a system only installed into the wall for upstairs only. However after looking at our system size he stated that it was big enough to cool the house. After speaking we decided that we should have the AC looked at about the leak first before we should decide on the estimate. Overall, Rick did not push us to extra work, push that we did need something bigger. He could have said he agreed with the previous company, but he did not. He gave us different price options, and was very friendly. The second appointment Sid was our technician. He was just as wonderful as Rick. He came in and looked at our system and got right to work. It turned out it was clogged, as we have three large dogs and weren’t changing the filters enough.... (we change them once a month, probs should do it twice a month.) it had collected water in the system, and was backed up and had soaked the insulation around it. Which could be the reason it isn’t cooling the house well. He got everything completed and corrected. Overall it was a great experience. Not to mention I called on Tuesday and had both appointments scheduled for the same week. I highly recommend them. There prices were a bit higher then others (not by much) but well worth the little bit of extra. They are quick, Kind, do not force work that is not needed on you, and professional.

They were the only company that had the right mix of availability and price, the technician was timely and professional, and would absolutely do business with them again.
The technician arrived in a timely manner and was very professional. In addition to resolving our issue, he gave us lots of great tips on maintaining our AC and keeping it in top shape!

It's been a little over a year since Norfolk air did a complete overhaul (2 story house with a crawl space) of our heat and air system using American Standard. Mr.Taylor Everett was 100% correct with the evaluation of our older system and put together a new plan for a superior HVAC that has proven to be above normal standards. Josh and Brandon's crew did an outstanding job of the tear out and re-work the new system into the correct position for the maximum performance of the new system. They installed the air scrubbers and they make a huge difference. (Outstanding product !!!) They are a great addition to the system. With the new system we have approximately 40% savings in our utility bill. Mr. Evertt was perfect with the evaluation savings percentage. The Crew that performed the 1 year after service were very professional and courteous and was performed complete and on time. We will recommend Norfolk Air to anyone asking.

AC stopped working this morning and we couldn’t find anyone to come fix it today! Our friends recommend Norfolk Air, Heating & Cooling and they were here within the hour. Got us up and running! We will definitely be recommending to others!

The Air Conditioning was not working in my office, it was 93 degrees in there. I called in and they had someone come out very quickly. Brian did a awesome job getting my system back up and running. I highly Recommend Norfolk Air Heating & Cooling.

Matt Smith was our second HVAC technician. In my opinion, the first technician did not properly complete our requested service. I was told the first technician did complete what is normally required for the job, and that the additional stuff completed my the second technician is not normally required. The bottom line is that this company sent over a more qualified individual the day after, more specifically Matt, to ensure that we would be satisfied with the company's services. The company did not charge for the second technician, which I would have challenged anyway, but instead "made it right." The amount of debris and water Matt cleared from our HVAC during the second visit was astonishing to me. Matt "soft-sold" his efforts as removing minimal debris from our HVAC drain lines. I saw the amount of debris and water, it was not minimal. Our HVAC now is cleaned out and functioning as designed. Thanks Matt for your efforts! Thanks to the customer service employee, Heather (I think that is her name), for being professional and making certain that the issue was resolved. I have used this company a number of times and my issues plumbing/HVAC issues do get resolved, at a competitive price, even if the technicians need to return to complete the service. I would have given this company 5 stars, but for the fact that this is not the first time I have had to call for a return visit by the technicians.

So it was 100F and my home bound parents ac unit failed. We contacted a competitor and they “fixed” it..... but they did not, they wanted to sell an elderly couple a new $15k unit. When the unit failed for the third time after it was fixed, I called Norfolk Air Heating and cooling. Nicholas came out and and serviced our unit within two hours of my call in a hot busy time. We were back on line for $100 and I know all items were tested. The other company failed to do this, our family is so appreciative of everything that was done! Thank you from the bottom or our heart! You made a difference!!

Ninety degrees outside and inside ten degrees warmer than the thermostat was set. Turns out the exterior unit was not running at all. The fourth bunch I called was Norfolk Air, etc. Next time they will be the first. Justin was early (on a Saturday), professional, efficient and out of there in about 30 minutes. Top notch.

A/C was running non-stop but would not go below 80. Was told tech would be here between 2&4. Bill called before arriving at 1:30. He did a very thorough check and said I needed refrigerant - told me the price for me to ok before continuing the work.(this was after another company said I needed an entire new system.) Because it is going to take time for the temp in the house to catch up, he checked the temp that was flowing out of the vent to be sure it was cooling. Bill is very professional and an all around personable guy. He also recommended I check the Blue Ribbon Plan that Norfolk Air offers. Hoping this was all I needed for now but will be sure to call Bill when the time comes.

our air stopped working at 3 am. Bill from norfolk air can out and saved the day. !!! he was fast and right on the money about what was wrong !!! I highly recommend norfolk air. especially with emergencies !!!

They came out yesterday and ever since they left the AC has not stopped running, very little air flow and charged me $300 to straight some duct work. The duct work is worse now. They want another $80 service charge to come out and look at it. There are many other HVAC companies there, avoid this one.

I returned home from being out of town and found my A/C not working. It was 8:00 pm on a Friday night and the house was over 80 degrees. I called Norfolk Heating & Air and expressed my problem to see how quickly they could respond. Tyre called me back within 5 mins asking me how he could help. WOW. He was very professional and willing to help. Within 20 mins, Tyre showed up at my door with a smile and was committed to fixing the problem. He made no promises but vowed to do everything he could to get it up and running. He immediately found the issue and had the part on his truck to address it. Tyre has a genuine love for people and is committed to serve his community. I sure hope the company knows the value of good customer service because Tyre represents this company in a positive manner. I will be ONLY using this company in the future for all of my HVAC needs. THANK YOU Tyre for a positive experience. Keep up the outstanding work and I hope to see you again in the future.

We had a very timely and professional response from our technician Emanuel, he was super friendly, very good with my kids and even took the time to recognize and humor my dogs. He did a great job with the difficult scenario we were in, i am military and in the middle of a pack out, boxes were everywhere and the house was crowded with packers, but he was still quick and efficient.... way to go!! A+

Had some leaking faucets repaired. Service provider was on time and displayed a thorough knowledge of what needed to be done to fix the problem. Technician was respectful of my house and belongings as he wore foot protection and practiced social distancing. Highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

We turned on our air conditioning for the summer, and SURPRISE, it was not cooling. Nate came out a couple hours later and not only replaced the burned out capacitor, but really talked me through some preventative measures for keeping my aging system working for a couple more years. He was extremely professional and generous with his knowledge. I would most assuredly call on him again for my HVAC needs.

Was able to get early next day service for a non-emergency. The technician, Bill Howes, showed up at the very beginning of the appointment window. Courteous, pleasant to deal with and fixed the problem. Can't ask for more than that.

The electrician Wes provided the most exceptional service of any contractor I have ever used. He took the time to understand my problem, researched solutions, and recommended one that was perfect for what I was trying to accomplish. Great service, great clean up. Couldn’t be happier.

Over the weekend I noticed I had a problem with my main sewer line. I though with a little Drano and some patience that I could fix it myself. This Morning (a Monday, great way to start off the week) I found my back yard flooded and sewage everywhere. So, I am not the plumber I thought I was. I called NAHCPE and they came out to the house within a half hour of my call. Marvin and Henry came out and did a great job. I was up and running in an hour. I would like to also add that I had a problem with my A/C a few weeks back. I called NAHCPE and the sent out Tyre. Another great professional from this organization. Tyre tried to sell me on the service plan, but my thought then was, "What could go wrong." I was wrong -- when you think you are in the clear, that is when SH*T happens -- and in my case this morning -- literally. I would recommend NAHCPE to anyone. Oh -- and I am not on a service plan.

Our kitchen sink was leaking on a Saturday! Norfolk Air was able to get someone out to our house extremely quickly. The job was done efficiently and the gentleman making repairs was professional, friendly, and courteous. We will definitely use them again for future repairs.

Our A/C stopped working 6/25 overnight. We called Norfolk Air morning of the 26th, Friday. Saturday is forecast to be in upper 90 degrees. The entire experience was very positive. Our technician was Bill Howes, he was knowledgeable, professional, prepared, on time and got us up and running in no time. Recommend signing up for their blue ribbon, preventive maintenance protection plan. Thanks for being so responsive!Jerard Brewer

My daughter called to have her AC Unit checked they charged her $298.00 and didn’t issue her a receipt for what they did. Well AC Still is not working. Then they issue an estimate on a new unit for $24.000 dollars..WOW! A 1300 square ft home a unit should cost around $3500 were they going to renovate the whole house? This company obviously tries to take advantage of the inexperienced Do not call them to fix anything!
