This is my first time using Norfolk Air’s services, and I will definitely be a life-long customer. I reached out to them after my child flushed a toilet paper HOLDER (the actual plastic holder!!) down the drain. Not only was I scheduled for the very next day, but I was actually able to receive service on the same day! Kweyvon and John were right on time, they listened to my issue, gave me a couple of options, and proceeded to successfully get my toilet flushing again! They saved me from having to purchase a whole new toilet! I highly recommend Norfolk Air!
John Edmonds and crew coordinated with my company to disconnect and remove a gas hot water heater for a customer, we were contracted to remove rotted subfloor and replace joist, new double layer of subfloor, and vinyl tile. John then came back and reinstalled gas hot water heater properly. His work was neat and professional. It’s often difficult to coordinate 2 contractors but John made it smooth.
They replaced my breaker panel within code so that Dominion would return my meter because my mom's on oxygen and they knew it was an emergency so they worked efficiently and it was a holiday so they made sure that the inspections were done and we were so satisfied it was such an amazing say 😻
Rick came out, and he was so kind, professional and patient. Answering all my questions, taking the time to make sure I had an understanding of everything that was going on. He checked out the issue very thoroughly, leaving no stone unturned. He followed up and made sure no one had any more questions. I would most def have him come out to look at your vents/ducts, he knows his stuff!!
Horrible customer service and refuses to pay for the damages they did to my brand new floors leaving it looking like this. This company is not professional and cannot be trusted. Please do not use this company.
Please do not use this company. Their plumber ruined our hardwood floors and said they would repair it and will not return our phone calls. Please tell all your family members and friends not to use this company
Jake came to my home after hours to assist me in a problem with my HVAC system. He provided EXCELLENT service and was personable and helpful! I would like to ask that he continue to be my service provider in the future.
I want to start by saying Troy was super professional, knowledgeable, and nice. We were told He would be here between 10am and 2pm. He was here before on time, which was perfect. I will absolutely use their services in the future.
Quality service for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. I continue to renew my annual service contract with them for more than 10 years now. Somewhat large company that can typically be available and respond to emergency situations and easily schedule planned visits. But relatively expensive. I don't like that they only do lump sum billing without breaking out the costs. I've come to accept this. Sometimes they need to come back for a follow-up to address something forgotten or done incorrectly - and they want to charge for it, so sometimes there is some haggling. I've had terrible experiences with other companies. You can trust that this company knows what they're doing and they're bonded appropriately and you know you're not going to have warranty problems.
John was clearly a subject matter expert and a conscientious technician. He gave me several possibilities and provided estimates for each. He performed the service I chose and made sure it solved the problem. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received.

I have used Norfolk Air Heating and cooling in the past, and they have provided excellent service. On 07 Jan 2018 I had a clogged sink, that I was not able to clear. I contacted them and set a schedule for Wednesday. The technician "Henry" arrived on time (actually early). He was able to clear the clog as well as provide me an estimate for future repairs.2022 September I have again used Norfolk Air, Cassidy was awesome prompt and professional.
Just a note: I have NOT had my unit serviced yet. I only had diagnostic done. The response time was excellent as well as communication. They called then followed up with text. Cassidy was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done and services offered. I did buy a protection plan. We'll see how that goes but so far VERY pleased.

Norfolk Air replaced my leaking water heater and also corrected the exhaust ventilation that was not properly installed previously. They also found a leak at the city water intake and will be calling the city about that for me. also I think Norfolk Air , plumbing and HVAC (they do electrical also) are very professional.My technicians Marvin and his apprentice Ricky we’re very easy to get along with and I thank you for the service.Update 7/05/2022: During a previous visit, an unsafe electrical condition was discovered. Today electrician Wes with the assistance of Jose have not only corrected the weather damaged unsafe condition, but updated ( brought up to code) my meter placement and replaced the circuit breaker box.7/14/2022 update: Matt’s diagnostic skills were excellent and my system was up in a jiffy.
After using a contractor that had no idea what he was doing we realized there was a leak in the crawlspace underneath the kitchen. John Edmonds and his team came out and thoroughly inspected the plumbing job. They told me what I already knew about the work being insufficient but John and his team definitely made me feel better about it being able to be fixed. They were both extremely professional and very friendly and easy to talk to although the news was as bad as it was for delivery made it somehow feel better that I will knew it would be fixed properly!

Erin initiated a call to schedule a part replacement and Troy was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure it’s done right.Update: New heat pump installed and process went so smoothly! Everyone who helped was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Taylor does an awesome job helping me out on the phone. Tyler worked with us to get what we needed, the installation coordinator was great and Steven, Ian and Anthony worked their tails off all day long in intense heat to get the job done and even tidied up so nicely. Mr. Malone was my first point of contact was knowledgeable and cost conscious assisting with creative solutions for parts procurement. Technicians, Mr. John and Mr. Ricky, were professional presentable and respectful. Technicians installed a tankless electric water heater quickly and efficiently. Work area was kept clean and technicians were respectful of time and budget concerns.
Had to replace a toilet and Henry and Travis were sent out within three hours of my request for service. Henry and Travis did an excellent job of removing the old toilet and installing the new one. They cleaned up nicely and were friendly. The lady who took my call also was friendly. This is an excellent company I use for plumbing, electrical, gas, heating and air conditioning. UPDATE: I noted a small leak from the tank of the new toilet and emailed Norfolk Air. Henry and Travis responded in less than two hours (on a Saturday!) and tightened the fittings. Can't ask for better service. CONTINUED: I had a leak for a different toilet. At my request on a weekend, Travis called within two hours and came by the same day to repair the leak. Again- excellent service! Added 10/14/19: A new technician performed our regular, twice-a-year service. Emanuel was a pleasant, knowledgeable young man. Besides checking the heating system for the winter, Emanuel cleaned our humidifier, Great job, as usual! Update on 11/11/19: Doing some renovation and had to redirect a gas valve. Henry came out as scheduled and did the job. Very pleasant and professional experience as usual. THIS IS ONE WELL-RUN COMPANY! Update: 9/18/20- Had biannual inspection by Cassidy. Fine young man. Everything is working well- both heating and cooling. This is good insurance to have these inspections. Update August 27th 2022. Jake came out to repair our air conditioner that stopped working. One of the drains had locked up. Very happy with his coming out within an hour and his friendliness and good advice. Gary

Marvin was amazing! He showed up on time, took his time, found out what was wrong, and eased my mind. I was really stressed! We contacted this company over a month ago through a referral from my sister. The representative was on time for the first visit and very cordial. We paid for the service call at that time but learned that the piece we needed had to be ordered, we paid that day for the service call of $ 90.00 and an additional $ 75.00 for them to order the piece needed. We were told that our warranty for that piece had expired but my husband called the maker of the air conditioner to learn that the piece we paid them to order was in fact still under warranty. How did they did not know this, when the representative claimed he contacted the manager "Brandon" while at my home and Brandon " confirmed" that the piece was not under warranty.Two days later another representative shows up and says that the piece ordered was defective and it would take another three to four weeks for the piece to be located and delivered. Today, 8-23-22, we were informed that there is no Idea when the piece would be in stock and available for delivery, however, they did have a piece that they could install (after market) for over $1000.00 dollars.We are seniors and have had to endure hotel cost and over 80 degree temperatures in my home. My question is... how is it that no manufacturer in the U.S. has this piece? Are they waiting for the warranty to expire, or are they taking advantage of seniors?Our faith in honest reputable company's continues to dim and it it such a shame that we have to now contact another company, pay for an additional service call, not alone continue to deal with the upcoming heat, summer is not over. Not only have I posted this review to the company's site, I will post this review over every media and news site that I can. 1 star for the company8-22-22Jake Harbour came on time and ready to work. My home had a leaking spigot in my backyard and I called this company to come assess and fix the leak. Turned out to just be an old/corroded fixture that needed replacing.After receiving the quote for over $600 to fix the leak I declined to have the repair done. I completely understand people need to paid fairly for their time and efforts but for the extent of the repair needing to be done that pricing was just egregious.There is a flat $89 fee assessed just to make the trip out to your home and provide a quote. At the end of the visit, with no repairs completed I was charged $300 total- which equals out to be $200 an hour (+$89 fee) on a non emergency visit that resulted in me still having a leak to fix.I would not recommend this business unless you have no other options available to you.The technician did arrive promptly and was courteous and respectful of my home/myself. The 1 star review reflects the pricing structure, not the individual technician.

Thursday, 8.11.22, approx 1030am : I was surprised to find a leak in our sing in our main bathroom which had flooded the cabinets. I proceeded to work to loosen pipes to determine root cause. Unable to do that, I called Norfolk Air and they made a commitment of service visit between 2p-6p that day. I decided to go ahead and run errands before that. As I was still out. I received a call from John Edmunds/Norfolk Air that he was en route. I explained commitmentbwas for 2p-6p and I was out but make my way home asap. John assured no problem and office text me it was fine, they advised John to wait for my arrival. I arrived a few minutes after 2pm, my son had already let John in and he had already corrected the problem. Apparently, the faucet aereator was the issue, leaking back into handles, when water on.John showed me all, tightened pipes I had previously loosened.. John also made time to check our other bath faucet as well. New homeowner this location , so appreciate John/Norfolk Air being user friendly, reliable as they are.John was great! Nice guy, knowledgeable, courteous. Appreciate all!! previous testimony several weeks ago that I posted on Google re their a/c repair service : I called Norfolk Air on Saturday, approximately noon, because we had lost our a/c. Surprisingly, they made service calls on Saturday and Sunday. So, they committed to a 4hour window that same afternoon. I received a text from Matt, the assigned Tech, a short time later confirming his visit. Matt showed up early and went to work diagnosing the problem in a few minutes (capacitor went bad). Matt then quoted the charges for the repair (beyond our service contract). Matt replaced the part and we were up and running a few minutes later. Matt was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. All in all, we reported a problem to Norfolk Air around noon and the Tech visited and fixed the problem asap, total time from reporting to repair - about 2 1/2 hours! -- on a Saturday!!!,.. (who does that?? -- Norfolk Air!)..Great service!.. Highly recommended!..
Jake arrived on time. He was courteous and conscientious while assessing and repairing the problem with our A/C. He helped expedite the repairs same day, rather than having to wait until after the weekend to be cool again. I’ve been a repeat customer for several years — this type of service ensures I will continue to be for years to come.
John & Marvin were on time. They diagnosed a difficult issue of raw sewage from a blocked pipe. They were dedicated in finding creative solutions to fix the issue. They were very professional, explained the situation & it's resolution, & were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to a friend.
Always prompt, professional service. Technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. The scheduling coordinator is always wonderful and gets me the service and help I need asap. They call when they are 20 minutes away to confirm their arrival time. You also get text and email notifications. The text will have a photo of your technician so you know who is coming to service your home. I have used them for years for my hvac needs and am always pleased.
Jake was sent when we asked for their best, and the best he was. Even better, he brought Aaron, who was training, and they were the best possible candidates for our request. He was dedicated to diagnosing our HVAC issues and went the extra mile so that we could have our systems back before he left. I don't write reviews too often, but In this instance I feel I have to give a shout out to an employee named Cassidy Brooks (Cass). He was able to locate an issue with my A/C that was causing the refrigerant pipes to freeze up, despite multiple technicians called for the same problem. The entire time he was very professional, gave honest feedback when I asked questions, and worked diligently through the heat. I never felt like I was being forced into unessecary purchases. I've had hits and misses with my A/C for years, and most of the time it's just the equipment being difficult, not a lack of professionalism with the company - Cass was able to be that extra push above professionalism to isolate the issue. I had a leaky sink faucet. They came out for $80 to look at it for less than 5 minutes and gave me three OUTRAGEOUSLY high proposals, never even taking the faucet apart to look at the problem. Told me parts were expensive these days, as is labor. I was able to get the part myself for $44 and had a friend fix it. I will NEVER consider them for plumbing again.
Norfolk Air recently evaluated, tried repairing, and ultimately replaced our AC unit. Came out at 10:00 the morning it broke down, and we were running with a new unit 4 days later on the hottest days of summer. Punctual, good price, did not try to upsell, excellent snd thorough work.
Jacob responded promptly to my AC out issue. He proved himself knowledgeable and efficient with his and my time. He did what I needed done for submission to my warranty company too. Thank you Jacob for helping ensure my family didn’t go without AC another night during this heat, especially since it was so late and last minute.
Rick Higgins did a great job working with me and helping me make a final decision on my HVAC system. Cody Powers did a great job installing it. He was personable and professional.
