We have had this company install new ductless mini split systems and also routine maintenance on that system as well over the past roughly 4 years. We always request that Cassidy be assigned to our property for any routine maintenance on our system, as he is extremely professional, approachable, and seems to really care about our client experience. He also makes recommendations based on what he sees and from his professional knowledge. Nicole is a great asset to the company as well, and we request to work with her for all scheduling questions and logistics for their crews. She takes a personal interest in our situations and monitors the progress on their company's end seamlessly, as well as communicates our questions to the appropriate parties and always follows up with us on a timeline that is explicitly stated to us. I have full confidence in Eric! He quickly grasped the nature of our plumbing problem, and with superb clarity explained our options. It's a sewer leak within the house and he helped us craft a strategy for everything from wall removal for purposes of assessment, likely possibilities for repair to the plumbing, reference for mold/moisture remediation services, and some helpful suggestions to help us get through the whole process. This is THE guy you want for anything bigger than run-of-the-mill issues!

We recently replaced 2 heat pumps in our house. After 4 quotes Norfolk Air was the one that fit our needs best. We couldn't have been happier with the whole process. Tyler who came out to give us the estimate was great he explained the process and provided a quote with 4 detailed choices. The installers Carl and Da'Twan were fantastic. They were personable, professional, and answered any questions that we had. Bonus they were great with our animals. They had to adjust their initial plan because the new unit was a little larger than the Attic access they made the opening a little larger and dismantled the unit. You would never know that this happened. They tested the units thoroughly before leaving and found an issue. After troubleshooting they could reproduce the issue but not the cause. This was at the end of the second day of installation. Carl said that there wasn't anything to worry about the issue was when the emergency heat was tested and that we could use the AC. Carl said they would get a technician out as soon as possible. Norfolk Air sent Justin out the next morning. He was diligent in troubleshooting the cause of the issue and had it fixed and tested very quickly. I will definitely call Norfolk Air in the future and I highly recommend them.
The plumbing tech Jakob did an excellent job repairing the leak in our crawl space. Friendly and informative with us every step of the way. Very professional. I felt we were in good hands with Norfolk Air and Jakob.

Our toilet would not flush. Jerome and Jesse Came out right away and were completely professional – friendly, informative, told us why using an auger wouldn’t work because the clean out was already under high-pressure so there was a clog down the line, and offered a couple of solutions with Clear estimates but no pressure whatever to buy right then. Immediately after they left, we received emails detailing their suggestions and what the cost would be. A day later, when my wife and I decided to go ahead with having a hydro jet blast the clock Free, Darrion and Jesse came out, worked for about a half an hour, and told us they had found seven clogs caused by wet wipes, put down the commode by our Tenants even though we had told them not to. They had reached a Clog they could not get through, suggesting we probably would need to call the City to come out and see if the clog could be cleared from the street side. Then just before cleaning up, they tried again – and success! They Cleared the final clog! After they left, we got an After they left, we got an email with pictures they had taken. Once again we were completely delighted by their professionalism and their determination to help us. Our suggestion? If you’ve got a Plumbing job that has to be done right, hire these guys!
Kyle was professional and prompt. My bathroom has never had every fixture run so well or quietly. In two hours, he fixed all the problems I'd been having for a year and a half.
8/16/24 visit. Justin stopped by on time to replace a part on our air handler. He was in and out in about 20 minutes. AC is great so far. I have a geothermal heating and cooling system and recently had Norfolk Air, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical address a problem I had with my system plumbing. The crew arrived on time as scheduled, quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and arranged for repairs. Repairs were done efficiently and effectively and with in the cost quoted. As both my wife and I work, timeliness and accuracy of estimates are both very important to us. Norfolk Air consistently comes through for us! Keep up the great work!
Former blue ribbon customer. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS! I have had a few interactions with Norfolk Heating and Air, they have never actually fixed my issues, they have broken my equipment, and have left my system in danger of burning my house down. I’ve given this company over a thousand dollars and not once have they actually fixed my issue, not once have my home systems been better. They broke my grinder pump, claimed they “cleaned” my AC (literally still filthy, pictures below) and failed to recognize a failing capacitor that started arcing and sparking almost causing an electrical fire in my home. When I called they offered excuses for their poor workmanship, when I inquired how much it would be to replace the $10 capacitor I was quoted at $280 something dollars. I expected maybe $50-75 for a $10 part with a 30 min job. This company is taking advantage of peoples ignorance, breaking their equipment and price gouging simple fixes. I will not be returning as a customer and can not recommend them to anyone. I almost never write reviews, but I was so appalled at their service and know they have so many positive reviews that I felt compelled to say something.

Jerome and Rick came to the rescue today. They replaced a cracked pipe and then the washer still would not drain. They found the clog and took care of that too!! Thank guys for such a quick response and solution to the problem. Will be using Norfolk Air and Plumbing again.

Jerome and Amando came in and did an excellent job under tight conditions. They were right on on their time estimate and did a great job cleaning up upon completion.
What do I like about this business? Apart from Justin (the technician), NOTHING! I had an issue with a Mitsubishi min-split issue ... I asked for a specialist and they sent someone who had NO IDEA ... told me that whole house mini-splits in this are is not a good idea and without an actual error code, nothing they could do ... 2 weeks until I finally got someone who knew what they were doing (Justin ... who I asked for to begin with) ... charge me $209.00 for the 2 who knew nothing. So, Justin comes out ... finds that the issue is a bad sensor ... (please note, 1 bad sensor). Took them 2 weeks to get the new sensor in ... meanwhile, I have little to no AC in my bedroom ... when I call and ask for status, they tell me it has been ordered ... nothing more ... so, 2 weeks later, part is in ... instead of replacing the ONE bad sensor, they replace all 3 ... why? well, my best guess is so they could charge more money ... I would call that a bit unethical. Now, unit still not working properly so I call to have Justin come back out ... guess what? Another $89.00 service charge even though it is the same problem. Is this the company you want to deal with? Not me ... not anymore. Like they say, 'BUYER BEWARE".
CAUTION! THEY TRIED TO SCAM US!!!Do NOT trust Kyle Ritchey!-----------------------------------------------------Kyle Ritchey and the other technician that came out today seemed very professional. They had squeezed us in and showed up fairly quicklyKyle immediately, without hardly looking at it, told us the water heater had the wrong style vent, and that was causing our issue. Our options were to run a new PVC vent line and involve a roofing company to seal it up, or the more economical option, replace the water heater with a new one for $3000+We felt funny about it, did some more research, and scheduled Roto-Rooter out for a second option.Kyle told us it was a Power Vent water heater that needed replaced with a regular one. It literally says Natural Draft directly on the label.Preston from Roto-Rooter came by and checked everything out. He said it looked like new, everything was up to code, and there was absolutely no reason to replace the water heater. He told us to go to a plumbing supply store in the morning with the vapor sensor that had likely failed, and they would sell us the correct part.If you ever need help with a gas water heater in Hampton Roads, ask for Preston at Roto-Rooter. He saved us over $3000 today for a simple $30 fix.Do not do business with Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical.

I have used Norfolk Air Heating and cooling in the past, and they have provided excellent service. On 07 Jan 2018 I had a clogged sink, that I was not able to clear. I contacted them and set a schedule for Wednesday. The technician "Henry" arrived on time (actually early). He was able to clear the clog as well as provide me an estimate for future repairs.2022 September I have again used Norfolk Air, Cassidy was awesome prompt and professional.AUG 2023, I needed a full system replacement. Norfolk air heating and cooling was super quick. (Next day) arrived at 0800, and everything is running smooth. The front office staff are wonderful, and go me great financing for an unexpected cost.July 2024. System maintenance again excellent service.
Very pleased with the service and quick response that I received from Norfolk Air Heating Cooling Plumbing and Electric. I needed my sanitary sewer line, that runs from the house to the street, cleared of some tree roots that were partially blocking the pipe. Kyle cleared and scoped the line for a reasonable price. He also gave me a couple options, with estimates, to prevent it from happening again. I will definitely use Norfolk Air Heating Cooling Plumbing and Electric for my future plumbing needs.

We had Jose out to assess the outlet in the kitchen that popped our circuit. He was prompt when arriving and he was knowledgeable with telling me what the issue was.The only problem I had was that only the service call fee was disclosed to me over the phone when I scheduled the appointment and when he got here, I was informed that just for him to diagnose the issue it was an additional $182 fee and to replace the outlet, another $226. I’m sorry but $497 to replace one outlet is outrageous.We decided not to have the outlet replaced but still ended up with a service call bill that was just under $300, and he wasn’t even here an hour. I feel that we were absolutely taken advantage of.I will credit the company as they do offer a military discount, but it was still ended up being an expensive service call. I hope that going forward, Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical decides to disclose ALL fees when appointments are scheduled.
I recently had members of their plumbing and electrical team come give estimates, and perform work for me. Jerome and Jamar were very kind and helpful looking at the issues I had, giving an estimate, and helping replace my bathroom faucet and tub spout and giving me peace of mind about no leaks.Jose assisted with fixing some wiring connection/control mishaps we had with some light switches, and also did a wonderful job. Damien has serviced the AC side of our system twice now and we could not be more satisfied with his professionalism and technical expertise. He takes pictures of all the work he performs and runs through them with you, which is particularly appreciated for work he does in the attic. He also describes in advance any work he is proposing to do in terms I can understand. I’ve had excellent experience with Norfolk Air and Damien.
We had a sewage backup in our home and needed weekend, emergency service. Norfolk Air, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electric initially said they would have a service person out within a four hour window. Much to our surprise, within 30 minutes, we received a text from our tech, Ricky Hale, that he was on his way. Ricky arrived, explained his process in great detail, answered questions and worked tirelessly to ensure that what turned out to be a most difficult job got completed. He battled for hours with crazy stubborn roots stuck in our terracotta pipes and never once complained or threw in the towel. I am so impressed with this hardworking, articulate young man. Just as I was beginning to question the work ethic of today’s younger generation. Kudos to him and his company! Highly recommend!

Actually dialed Norfolk Air by mistake. Thought I was calling another company that was recommended to me. However, I’m glad I decided to give Norfolk Air a try. So far, I am very pleased with their work. I am still in the beginning stages of getting my HVAC, plumbing and electrical system evaluated. The technician, Troy Collins, that serviced my HVAC was a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5. Off the scale great. I highly recommend Norfolk Air. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I came home on a Sunday afternoon from being out of town and my house was registering 87 degrees. I called Norfolk Air and they were able to get a technician out to me within just a few hours. Their prices were reasonable and Shaun was knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also recognized an issue from a previous fix that another well known company failed to complete. I will use Norfolk Air for all future HVAC issues.
They came out at 12:30am midnight to fix my AC unit. Gordon the technician was awesome! He was professional and kept me updated on every step. Even for coming out in the middle of the night there was no additional charge. I will be definitely calling them back if I have any issues. I definitely recommend them over any company.

Very unsatisfied with Brandon's crew.Never really got a receipt but feel $2500 is way too much.My receipt said quantity 1.0 but no prices,so no break down on water heater,parts,nothing.It all had quantity 1.0 and no $ amount.The only $ amount was the total.Who does this people?Quote for dishwasher install was $500 Loews was around $250.Never using this place and will not recommend to my railroad friends
