Choosing a Faucet for Your Kitchen

There are numerous kinds of faucets available in the stores. They differ in styles, sizes, options and add-ons. Buying and installing one used to be so easy, but now you may need to do a little research to find the perfect faucet for you kitchen.

Single-handle faucets – Single-handle faucets are very convenient. The water pressure and water temperature can be adjusted with a single handle. This faucet allows you to choose the temperature fast, using only one hand.

Long reach faucets – These faucets can have one or two handles. The handles can be on the side of a faucet, or mounted to the counter top. Long reach faucets make washing dished and filling pots easier.

Bar faucet – bar faucets are smaller faucets that are used for simple tasks. They have a limited reach and ideal for small areas.

Pullout spray option – Some faucets have a sprayer on the side, but some newer ones have the pullout sprayer that comes out the faucet itself. The second option allows you to have only one hole in your counter top.

Choose the faucet that corresponds with the style of your kitchen and has all the necessary options.
